Robert (Bob) Emerson Poindexter
76, a resident of the Viney Grove Community near Prairie Grove passed away January 15, 2010 at his home in Viney Grove. He was born March 16, 1933 at Houston, Texas, the son of George Emerson and Alie Mae Owens Poindexter.
Survivors include is companion, Sue Thomas McCutcheon of the home; two sons, Guy Hodge Poindexter of Houston, Texas, and Robert Ray Poindexter of Fayetteville, Arkansas; three brothers, John Poindexter of Houston, Texas, Larry Poindexter of San Diago, California, and Denny Poindexter of Nassah Bay, Texas; one sister, Becky Carroll of Pasadena, Texas; three grandchildren, Joshua Robinson, Christy Valdez and Robert James Poindexter.
Interment was in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.
