Gerrie has been such a joy to know. She has brightened so many lives. Her laughter was so contagious. My office always looked forward to her coming in. She was a splash of sunshine. She loved her family! The stories she told were captivating with tears from laughter. She would share her adventures, I still smile with the thoughts. I will miss her. |

I'm so sorry to hear of ur loss. She was mine and my families next door neighbor and would always watch our pets while we were on vacation. She was the only perso we could count on to do it for us and trusted. She was a very happy person. Never heard her complain and she loved her family. She will be missed very much by us but her numerous game and vacation buddies. But I know Geri. She loved God and us safe and secure in his arms. God bless u all. |

I got to know Gerry when she moved to Prairie Grove. I was always glad to see her. She just made you feel good. She always honked when she would pass my house on her way to church or to play cards.Gerry never failed to ask about my Mom. We always had a lot of laughs when we visited, I always enjoyed hearing her stories of her school teaching days. She was a very intelligent lady. I know her family, which she loved dearly, will miss her. I am going to miss her also. |

Gerrie was a lady that was full of life. She could always make you laugh and enjoy being around her. I used to go by the Community Center in West Fork on card day, I found out real quick that she was serious about playing cards. I couldn't help but kid her and she would laugh anyway. She provided everyone that knew her with memories and stories which will never be forgotten. She will certainly be missed by all her friends. |

A friend called me here on Cape Cod. This was where Marie (Jerry) and 2 others vacationed together maybe 25 years ago. We were her bridge group then. Marie was a good card player but never played by the rules. She laughed about everything. She showed me around Arkansas when I came to visit. I missed her when she left Danbury and I'll miss her even more now. I was shocked to hear of her passing. |

I taught with Marie[ Gerry] at Park Ave school in Danbury in 1978/79. She was a hoot. The kids always wanted to go with her when she would come into the classroom to pick up her own language arts students. She had such a wonderful laugh. She was so kind to every child that she saw. |

I taught with Marie for many years at Park Avenue School. She had such a wonderful, positive attitude about life and learning. Her laughter brightened every day and it was such a pleasure working with her. She made every child feel like they were the best of the best. Every time I think of Marie a smile comes over my face. She was kind, caring, thoughtful and generous and adored her family. I know that everyone now has another special guardian angel watching over them. I was blessed to have worked with Marie and to be able to call her my friend. |
