Audra Darlene Copeland

73 a resident of Prairie Grove passed away June 2, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born July 3, 1942 in Chickasha, Oklahoma, the daughter of Jess and Audra Perkins Copeland.

Darlene was a very accomplished quilter, she loved to go to church singings which she participated in. She drove a school bus in Oklahoma and Arkansas for many years. She had three dogs she loved, Tiny, Ginger and Peanut.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands Roy Herman Piearcy and Darrell Wayne Brown.

Survivors include five children Brenda Piearcy and Steve Graham of Sawyer, Oklahoma, Roy Eugene Piearcy of Prairie Grove, Rita James of Powderly, Texas, Dennis R Piearcy and wife Cindy of Porter, Oklahoma and Jesse James Piearcy of Prairie Grove; four brothers James Copeland and wife Bobbie of Muldrow, Oklahoma, Kenneth Copeland and wife Martha of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Greg Copeland and wife Beverly of Prairie Grove, Jack Copeland and wife Michelle of Georgia; one sister Pat Tilson and husband Gary of Missouri; six grandchildren Tiffany Dwan Manning-Martin, Laura Denise Fendley, Bethany Erin Manning, Trevor James Piearcy, Cassie Darlean Piearcy and Terra Elizabeth Piearcy; six great grandchildren of which one called her the “Real Grandma” .

The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 4:00-5:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Monday June 6, 2016 10:00 A.M. at New Hope Church near Prairie Grove with burial in the Prairie Grove Cemetery. Grave side services will not be held at the cemetery,
