Basil Edward Dunn

85 a resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas, passed away October 4, 2014 at his home. He was born March 11, 1929 in Protem, Missouri, the son of Joseph Harrison and Ada Ethel Braden Dunn

Basil served in the United States Navy in the 9th Mobile Construction Battalion with the rank of BUCN. He worked as a truck driver for two years after serving in the Navy then went to work for Campbell Soup where he retired after 22 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jo, his parents, three sisters Agnes Dunn, Alma Dunn and Irene Palmer; two brothers Lester Dunn and Don Dunn.

Survivors include one daughter Tonya Mars and husband Gary; two grandsons Weston Mars and Steven Mars all of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two brothers Homer Dunn of Stilwell, Oklahoma and Leonard Dunn of Huntsville, Arkansas; one sister Alene McLaughlin of Springdale, Arkansas;

Family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2014 -2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
