Tributes

WE were so blessed to get to go to Daytona with Junior and to knock that off his bucket list and to see him ride his bike down the beach, although we got caught in a rain storm on the way back to hotel land took cover on the side of the road. Good friends and good memories!

Unfortunately, I didn't know Benny Shan very well, but I had an opportunity to visit with him at Shan's funeral. He was a very caring and likable person, and it saddens me that he passed at such a young age. I am sorry for your loss, and will keep you in my prayers. Tim Foster

I have been honored to know him since we were kids. Met him swimming at the local swimming pool in Lincoln. He could always make the biggest splash. Lol. Always enjoyed being around him. RIP Junior.

I met Junior about 30 years ago and we have been the best of friends and team mates ever since. So many good times. He introduced me to my wife Holly and we will never forget him and will always remember his infectious smile and laugh. Way too soon to leave but we wish you our love and gratitude always. Rest in peace brother.

Ol Junebug R.I.P. My Friend, I'll never forget ya, due to the scar above my left eye that was given to me one night in Murdock's parking lot from the fight YOU got us in. I'll see you again my friend. Fatboy.
