Bula Dean Shepherd

76 a lifetime resident of Prairie Grove went to be with her Lord on May 15, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born July 15, 1939 in Prairie Grove, the daughter of Noah Birl and Flora Leoma Phillips Bradley.

Bula was a member of the Center Point Church of God. She loved to garden, scrapbook and spending time with her three grandchildren and the rest of her family and friends. She was previously employed by Baldwin Piano in Fayetteville, Kelly Canning in Prairie Grove then went to work for the Prairie Grove School District as a custodian in 1984 until her retirement in June of 2014 after 30 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband Guy Shepherd, her parents and one sister Mary Barnes.

Survivors include her three daughters Sharon Shepherd, Twylla Shepherd and Guyla Tylor and husband Michael; three grandchildren Ethan, Mikayla and Rachel Tylor all of Prairie Grove; one brother Gerald Bradley and wife Dorothy and one sister Janie Disney and husband Randy also all of Prairie Grove and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday May 18, 2016 10:00 A.M. at Center Point Church of God in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Joe Faddis, Ralph Hollingsworth, Johnny Einert, Randy Disney, Jason Smith and Dion Barnes.
