Evelyn Elaine Wright
Age 69, a resident of Springdale passed away October 4, 2016 at her home. She was born February 12, 1947 in North Little Rock, Arkansas, the daughter of U.L. and Ada Kendrick.
Evelyn was a retired insurance broker. She graduated from Oak Grove High School and was the class Valedictorian and was a cheerleader.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband of 42 years Bill Wright; one daughter Kimberly Hunt of McAllister, Oklahoma; one granddaughter Ashley Nikki Voorhies of Conway, Arkansas; one great granddaughter Skye Voorhies; her dog Dog; one sister Becky Allen of Springdale; one brother Mike Kendrick of El Paso, Arkansas; one sister-in-law JoAnn Wright; and her best friend Kathy Mercer Eades.
At Evelyn's request there will be no funeral services held.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Springdale Animal Shelter.

Tributes
Evelyn was the most helpful and thoughtful person during my mothers illness. She really appreciated all she did for her, but never told her. She has been a survivor for many years and now can rest in peace. God bless you. Love you very much.

Evelyn- We will miss you so much. Although we hadn't been able to spend very much time together recently, we will always carry our memories of tailgating and watching football games with you, Bill, and Nikki.
Bill, Nikki, and family- Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. While we all know that she is no longer in pain and is at peace, it doesn't help our wanting her here with us. Evelyn was such a wonderful and loving person. We will always cherish our memories of her and the time that we all spent together. She was a gem, that's for sure.
