Helen Louise Rice

88 a resident of The Maples at Harbor Meadows in Springdale, passed away March 10, 2014 at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born December 16, 1925 at Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, the daughter of T.H. and Anna Mae Westfall Powell.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ira Rice, one brother William Powell and one grandson Sampson Vaughn.

Survivors include three daughters, Trish Jacobe and her husband Dave of Tracy, California, Judy Abercrombie and husband Randy of Fayetteville, and Sharon Wallace of Crane, Missouri; three sisters Juanita Fields of Lytle, Texas, Bernice Weimers and husband Lenard of Devine, Texas and Barbara Roland of Schertz, Texas; nine grandchildren Rick Jacobe and wife Carolyn, LuAnna Lyne and husband Todd, Kimberly Davis, Amber Bustamante, Amanda Abercrombie, Sandra Roman, Eric Vaughn, Daniel Wallace and wife Kelly, and Wayne Wallace; fifteen great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 - 11:00 A.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with burial in Brentwood Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
