Ivan Wilhite

94, a resident of Farmington, passed away March 30, 2016 at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayetteville. He was born September 1, 1921 in Odell, Arkansas, the son of Jess and Bessie Pearl Dobbs Wilhite.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include five children Howard Wilhite and wife Carol of Lincoln, Loretta Boyd, Gloria Blakemore and husband Larry and Don Wilhite all of Farmington and Rick Wilhite and wife Vicky of Lincoln; one brother Robert Wilhite and wife Ina Jo of Lincoln; two sisters Bernice Corley of Prairie Grove and Oleta Taylor of Farmington; 48 grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Saturday April 2, 2016 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

What a wonderful man! Ivan was such a kind loving man that had quite a sense of humor! He always had a joke for me when I came to work with him in the mornings!
