Jack "Rick" Rolland Barnes Jr.

60 a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away March 26, 2014 at his home. He was born January 9, 1954 in Leesville, LA the son of Jack Rolland and Lillian Vickery Barnes Sr.

Rick retired from the National Guard after 21 years of service and retired from Pinnacle Foods after 30 years of service.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Tina Diane Barnes.

Survivors include his wife Tonja Barnes; four children, Sadie Barnes of the home, Holly Wall and husband Greg of Fayetteville, Tracy Doss and husband Jeff also of Fayetteville, and Cameron Barnes and Nadine Owens of Marble, Arkansas; one brother, Wiley Barnes of Prairie Grove; one sister, Donna Garrett and husband Sam of Alma; six grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014 - 10:00 A.M. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Prairie Grove, with burial in National Cemetery in Fayetteville.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I had only met Rick a couple of times. I worked with his father, Jack, at Levi Strauss & Co. Jack talked a lot about his family. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren. May God bestow comfort and peace during this time.
