John Robert Clark

70 a resident of Prairie Grove passed away May 10, 2015 in Prairie Grove.

He was born December 11, 1944 in Patchogue, New York, the son of Robert John and Catherine Donohue Clark.

John was a long distance runner in high school and college. He graduated from S.U.N.Y at Ablany, New York in 1966. He served in the Peace Corps in West Africa from 1967-1969. He graduated from the U of A Nursing program in 1974. He was employed at WRMC for 20 years.
He served as a volunteer Counselor and Board Member for Camp Dream Street for children with cancer and other blood disorders.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife Dona N. Clark; two brothers, Robert Clark and wife Annie of Kinson, New Hampshire, and Thomas Clark and wife Marybeth of Patchogue, New York; one sister Cathy Crema and husband Ron and his mother Catherine Clark all of Summerfield, Florida.

The family will receive friends Wednesday May 13, 2015 from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
