Obituary

Johnnie C Kelley a resident of Farmington passed away May 26, 2015 at the age of 94 years and 23 days at his home. He was born May 3, 1921 in Snyder, Arkansas, the son of Thomas Marion and Alma Luann Caskey Kelley.

Johnnie served in the United States Army during World War II in the European Theater. He retired from Nations Hardwood Co after 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Lee, Cecil and Charles. He is survived by his wife of 58 years and 9 days Ruby Mae Smith Kelley; his children Johnny Kelley and wife Mary Lou of Farmington; Jack Kelley of Stilwell, Oklahoma, Joan Phillips and husband Gary of Prairie Grove, Jody Gomez and wife Joan of Tuttle, Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; two sisters in law Crickett Kelley and Lois Nell Austin and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held Friday May 29, 2015 2:00 P.M. Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

The family invites you to the Prairie Grove Christian Church after the funeral for a meal and fellowship.

Johnny was one of a kind! He was loved and will be greatly missed. And, thanks to Johnny, I will always smile when I think of the nickname he gave me...Dagger!
