I can not explain why or how Ray & Katherine took me in as family. All I know is that for 47 years- I have belonged to a family that has ALWAYS loved me and supported me, unconditionally. Which I learned and passed on to my kids. I would never know how that felt without Ray & Katherine. They taught me that Family is forever!! As much as I will miss my MOM she is in the best place ever!!! (with Ray & Nick) Thank You GOD for my the time I got to spend with mom. I know the place in my heart that will be forever empty, but with GOD all things are possible.

I was so sorry to hear of Katherines passing - I knew her as a very loving and caring person who would do anything she could for you if you asked. In a difficult time in my life many, many years ago, she would talk to me with such kind, caring words and advice, which always had a way of making me feel better. While I haven't had any contact with Katherine for many years, I would keep up with how she was doing when speaking with Alycia or Joshua. I will always have fond memories of Katherine, and Ray.
