Kathleen Sue Brands

62, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Springfield, Missouri. She was born February 3, 1954 in Owosso, Michigan, the daughter of Floyd Eames and Phyllis (Bronson) Brands.

She was preceded in death by her father and one sister Karin.

Survivors include her mother, Phyllis Brands; one daughter Jackie Elam; two step daughters, Jennifer Hendi and Tonya Burks; her sister, Nancy Brands; her grandchildren Cameron Coffey, Kayliee Coffey, Zaid Hendi, Tanner Griggs, Kimberlyn Jefferson, Annabelle Griggs and Kyler Griggs; one great granddaughter Coraline Griggs.

Memorial service will be held 10:00 AM Friday December 23rd, 2016, at Church of Christ in Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

I am so sorry for your loss of Kathy. Although I haven't seen her in recent years, I always thought of Kathy as my friend, from way back in her Owosso days. I am very saddened by her abrupt passing and pray that you will find God's peace that passes understanding as you deal with such a great loss.
