Tributes

Our love and prayers for the Nash family. We have missed Lillian so much already. Now that she is at peace and in a better place we can celebrate her life. James know that we are here for you just as you have been there for us in our time of need.

I grew up staying the night at James and Lillian's house with my best friend/sister Michele. I'll never forget the things Michele and I would do with them and the trouble we'd get into with grandma (while she was holding a hair brush like a paddle) because Michele and I would be jumping on the beds singing (aka yelling) to the song "Locomotion"! Lillian was the funniest, and kindest lady and also told me I was her adopted grand-daughter since Michele and I were inseparable. And how she'd always make me feel her love and acceptance. She'll be loved and dearly missed!

To Grandpa Nash and Michele - may you find peace and comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord & Savior and is at peace. She will always be with each of you and watching from above every step of the way. Always know she is loved by many and will certainly be missed and never forgotten. Michele - Thank you for sharing her with me and all the memories we made together during our sleepovers, putting make up on, teasing our hair with at least half a can of hairspray and listening to our favorite boy band - The New Kids on the Block - and wishing and begging we could be grown up and on our own - little did we realize just how good we had it back then!! I can hear Grama hollering from the kitchen, 'Now, Michele and Michelle (M & M for short) you girls better not be doing something you aren't supposed to be' - Little did she know........we were always cooking up something! It makes me smile to think back to those innocent times in our lives. I wish both of our lives would have played out to where we could have stayed in touch and helped each other thru the trials and winding roads along the way. Know that I am here now, if you or your family need anything, please let me know. I love you Grama - until we meet again!!
