I never got to tell you when you were alive but you changed my whole world. I was kind of a troublesome kid and you never let that stop you from having me stay. You'd buy me art supplies and let me do your hair whenever I wanted. I was taught how to cook on a gas stove and how much honey goes in a hot tottie on the days I couldn't breathe. You always made sure I had whatever I wanted and spared no expense to see me smiling and learning. I wish I had spent more time with you as I got older but teenagers don't always realize how quickly things can change and then next thing I knew you were gone from this world. I always carry you with me and think of you often whether it's while I'm painting, doing hair or even just playing with someone's Chihuahua you come to mind. I miss you so much.
