Samuel Franklin Cheatham
81, a resident of Farmington, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022, in Fayetteville. He was born July 31, 1941, in Lincoln, the son of Walter Franklin and Kate (Maxwell) Cheatham.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Kenneth Cheatham; one sister, Sharon Eneks
Survivors include his wife; Helen Cheatham; one daughter, Cathy Herndon and husband Eddie; one son, Robert Cheatham and wife Vicky; four grandchildren: Jamie Gabbard and wife Chris, Kesha Emlet and husband Ryan, Collin Cheatham and wife Kaysha, Chelsea Cheatham and Scott Folsom, Laci Spears and husband Ryan; great grandchildren: Sydney, Teagan, William, Payton, Presleigh, Harper, AC, and Fen; one brother, JW Cheatham and his wife Darlene; one sister Dollie McCratic and her husband Roger; and one very beloved puppy Laila.
The family will receive family and friends Wednesday, August 10, 2022, 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation to Friends of Prairie Grove Pound. You can donate 3 ways. 1. Checks made out to FOPGP, 314 East Parks Street, Prairie Grove, AR, 72753. If you include the name of the person you are honoring and the family’s name and address, we will acknowledge the donation by return letter. 2. Donation using the donate link on our website. This method will go through the PayPal system. Depending on how the doner fills out the form, we may or may not get a notice of who the donor is. Either way, we will get the funds minus a small processing fee. 3. You can donate using the donate link on our Facebook page. All donations here are lumped into a monthly funds transfer so we get no information on the individual donors. However we do get the donation in its entirety, no processing fee. so sorry to hear of Sam passing Helen and the family have or deepest sypmathy .Sam was my sunday school treaher at the frist baptist church .and it is called main street church .Sam was a very good friend. and he will be missed very much Tillman & Dora Tabor
