Willie was a great neighbor. He will be missed. He may have been 97 years old but he never stopped working. God bless his family.

Willie Day was one of the best men I knew growing up in Hogeye. I remember him coming out to the Lockhart Ranch to coon hunt once in awhile. Grandpa and I always enjoyed his company. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends who are hurting in this lose. May God wrap his loving arms around each and every one of you and comfort you in only the way he can. God bless you.

One of God's best who will be greatly missed. Hours of stories from the tailgate of a pickup truck listening to the hounds in the hollers. My heart is heavy but God's arms are full. May Willie's family and friends find comfort and joy in the life he lived.
