Obituary

William "Billy" Franklin Ellison

Age 53, a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017 at his home. He was born November 26, 1963 in Pryor, Oklahoma, the son of Eldon and Sandra (Lindsey) Ellison.

Billy served 6 years in the United States Air Force at a Sergeant (SGT) with his specialty as a security specialist. He served as a reserve police officer in Blytheville, Arkansas for one year.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, cooking, playing computer games and working in his yard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandparents Gwen and John Howerton and two uncles Frankie Gene and Robert Short.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Ellison; six children: Stevie Ellison and husband Adam Dennis, Bo Ellison and wife Brandy, Lindsey Ellison, Darin Hooper and wife Heather, Brandon Hooper and wife Sara, and Katherine Hooper; two sisters: Tris Chew and Tara Kennedy and two brothers: Johnny Ellison and John W Manley; ten grandchildren: Aiden "Mex" Hooper, Ethan Hooper, Jackson Hooper, Asher Dennis, Kaylin Cook, Derrick Griggs, Michael McAdoo, Lacie McAdoo, Lillian McAdoo and Asher McAdoo and one grandchild on the way, Paisley Ellison.

Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 17, 2017 - 2:00 P.M. at Cookson Methodist Church in Cookson, Oklahoma.
