Brandon, We are so sorry to hear about your loss. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Washington County Road Dept - Friend

I never knew Donnie's name was "Winfield". didn't know him really until I was grown...he was more my older brothers' age. When I did get to know him, I found him funny, pleasant to be around, and obviously fond of his family. I'll miss seeing him at the Holland reunions.
Debbie Ledbetter Ingraham - Cousin

When I think of Donnie, I see that twinkle in his eye right before he told a story or was about to give someone a hard time. I see him in his overalls working on the farm. He was a father figure to me at a time in my life when I really needed one. He was a great man, and I'm glad that I had the opportunity to know him--and be teased by him. My thoughts and prayers are with the Hollands.
Michael Warren - Friend

What a respectable, hard working man Uncle Donnie was. You will be truly missed. I remember you always had a joke or story to tell and you always were my top buyer of girl scout cookies. :) I remember the last time I saw you , at my grandma and grandpa's house about 3 years ago and I regret now not giving you a hug that day. My thoughts and prayers are with Pat, the boys and their families, the sisters, Uncle Charlie, and the rest of the family. May God be with you during this time.
Chelsea Wilson - Great Niece

When mama called ths morning and told me that Donnie had passed I instantly thought," He is already on a tractor mowing hay. With an ear to ear grin." You could tell he loved life. He loved his family and he loved to farm. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in these dark days.

Im so so sorry for your loss, Pat and family. Donnie was a wonderful man, my only regret that I wasnt able to meet him before his illness progressed. Donnie and I had many long talks about his family at night....he sure did love each and every one of you so very much. We talked about his siblings, his immediate family and especially those grandbabies...that he was so proud of. He was a great great man! Take care and God Bless!!
Tammy Shipley, Lpn - Night Charge Nurse At Katherine's Place

I considered Pat and Donnie my family. They took me in during a time of need. I learned a lot from Donnie. He taught us all the meaning of hard work. He was a good fair honest man and he will be missed. The kids couldn't have asked for a better "Pa".

I have you in my prayers and pray God will comfort your hearts and give you strength through the coming days.
