Tributes

I WANT YOU ALL TO KNOW THAT MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. MOM'S JUST CAN'T BE DUPLICATED OR REPLACED. WHEN MY BROTHER WAS GOING WITH DEE IN 1963 I REMEMBER NELLA AND DEE WORKING FOR DR. FOUNTAIN AT NOEL. THEY WERE BOTH SO PRETTY THEY LOOKED MORE LIKE SISTERS THAN MOTHER AND DAUGHTER. BACK THEN NELLA HAD A SMILE THAT COULD LIGHT UP A ROOM. I WAS ONLY ABOUT 12 THEN BUT I STILL REMEMBER HOW SHE LOOKED. AND I REMEMBER ROG SAYING THAT THE MOM WAS AS GOOD LOOKING AS HIS GIRLFRIEND. ALOT OF WATER HAS GONE UNDER THE BRIDGE SINCE THEN. ALOT OF OUR LOVED ONES HAVE GONE. BUT WE STILL HAVE THOSE MEMORIES. DEE I LOVE YOU,NATHAN AND MELISSA. ALWAYS HAVE, AND ALWAYS WILL. MAY GOD COMFORT YOU IN THIS TIME OF YOUR SORROW. YOUR SISTER-IN-LAW/AUNT.....DIANE

I have learned a lot about Nella since I have married into the family. Glorianna my wife is bringing Bonnie down for the funeral. I will keep you all in my prayers and will be praying for a safe trip for them. I wish I could have come with them that my job does not allow me to miss Wednesday without consequence. I will be praying for you all tomorrow and for everyone to have safe trip to and from. Please remember the good times.

It is with our deepest sympathy that we cannot be there during this most difficult time. As we were, brother Jimmy and myself were born on her birthday and she was the attending nurse when we were delivered we shared a common connection. May the rest of the family know that they are in our thoughts and prayers, Johnny Tolly

This brings back memories of another time... when Nella was Dr. Fountain's nurse at Noel, MO. She was always so cheerful and helpful. And as she is the grandmother of my nephews, I feel their loss in such a special person in their lives. Prayers for all of the family and friends. To Al and Virginia, special blessings of comfort from God to sustain you through this time. I know Nella will be missed by many. Love, Ina May Persing Pummill

I was saddened to see that Nella had passed. She was a household word at the Easter's while growing up. She was a world of help to me as a young mother while working with her at the Chicken plant. She will be missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Debbie Easter Alumbaugh

I remember when I worked at Hudson's and Nelly made me a sweater outfit for my baby girl. She was so good to me. I wish I would have kept in touch with her. I still have the outfit she made for my daughter. She was really a great person to me. and helped me so much, I could always talk to her and she made me feel so comfortable. I am sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed.
