Tributes

My memories of Miss Richardson are filled with good times at the piano, stories about life's experiences, and a solid reinforcement of Christian values. My music is an integral part of my life (in my 29th year as pianist for First Baptist Church-Bentonville) and I owe so much gratitude and respect to Miss Richardson for never giving up on me and investing in me as she did. Heaven became even richer on Friday, June 2, 2006.

Miss Richardson was a wonderful person who loved to teach music. She had the best interests of her students in her heart. The world is a brighter, happier place because she passed our way. We are the better for it.

Miss Richardson was such a special lady. I was a piano student of hers from 1977 through 1984. I appreciate so much all that she taught me. Not only did she teach me to play the piano, but she taught me the importance of perserverance, practice, dedication, and being a "young lady". She held me to high standards and believed in me. I am so thankful for having such a precious, Christian influence in my life. I'm grateful for the gift she gave and will remember her always.

Loved Araminta dearly. When she was 63 years old, she drove all the way from Cane Hill Ar. to Abilene, Tx. to play piano at my wedding almost 30 years ago! So glad to get to meet Rob and reaquaint with other relatives. It was like a treasure hunt for beautiful souls. The service was beautiful and the photos are priceless. Mary Grace (mariano) King - Ms Richardson Was My Piano Teacher
We have heard nothing by the very best about Ms. Richardson. People from as far away a Huntsville have spoken about her to us. We purchased her home in Canehill about four years ago, and to this day the house is Araminta's house. We would have it no other way, and though we attempted to reach her over the last few years we were unable to contact her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, and we feel her loss though we never had the pleasure of her joy. Love and prayers.
Angel And Cody Smith
I have often thought of Ms. Richardson and thanks to her, after several years of taking lessons, I still sit down and play tunes I learned from her keeping after me to practice! My sympathy to Ms. Richardson's family.
Isabella (benefiel) Guckel - Old Piano Student (1954-?) Huntsville
I took piano from Miss Richardson for 6 years, from 6th grade until I finished high school. She was more than just a piano teacher to me. She was my friend, encourager, and advisor. I am now a gynecologic surgeon, and though I don't play the piano much anymore (not enough time to practice makes it frustrating), I credit her with much of my success in surgery, as the same coordination and concentration are necessary. She was a great lady, and I will miss her much.
