I'd like to express my condolences to the family. I've known Barbara since high school and am sorry to hear of her passing. I hope time can erase some of the sorrow you feel at this time.

I am so saddened to hear about Barbara's passing! Her beautiful smile and sweet spirit will be forever etched in my heart. I first met the Gibson family years ago when they lived on Spring St.in Fay. My sister, Glenda, worked for them. Barbara and I went to high school together. Anytime I saw Barbara I felt special. She always gave you her undivided attention and a big smile. People like her can NEVER be forgotten! May God comfort you as only He can.

I met Bobbie Lea in the Fall of 2001 and knew her until Feb. of 2002, although we had known her Dad, Eugene, for many years. She was a very nice lady. She was staying at her Dad's place in Summers and, knowing that my husband was terminally ill, she visited him and brought homemade chicken soup to him. God bless all of her family.

The Gibson family lived down the street when my family moved to Fayetteville in 1957. We went to Washington School together. There was something special about Barbara - always soft spoken, always sweet, always glad to see you. She was a special friend to all who knew her. Obviously she enjoyed all she did and she did it with gusto. My heart goes out to you for your loss of this wonderful lady.
