Rosemary Johnson
52, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away September 1, 2012 at her home in Lincoln. She was born January 19, 1960 Fort Riley, Kansas, the daughter of Earl and Rosemary Haney.
Rosie enjoyed riding horses and working on the family’s ranch training roping horses. She was a 1978 graduate of Mena High School, Mena, Arkansas, where she was a member of the Bearcat Gymnastic team and represented her county as the 1977 Miss Polk County.
Survivors include her loving husband, Jon Johnson of the home; two sons, Jon Johnson Jr. and Jared Johnson both of the home; one brother, Robert Haney of Spanish Fort Alabama, two sisters, Sandra Burrows of Carolina County, Virginia, and Ruby Mullins of Spotsylvania, Virginia; her mother Rosemary Haney of Mena, Arkansas; Rosie also had three nieces: Tammy, Melissa, and Rebecca, and seven nephews: Jerry, Mark, Tommy, Donny, Steve, Mike and Aaron, and many close friends.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 6, 2012 - 10:00 a.m. at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, with Jack Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery Morrow, Arkansas. No graveside services will be held at Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas.

I remember your mother bringing Bobby and Rosemary to visit my mother, her sister , when they were little. Bob was a little younger that me and we hung around a little . I remember little rose so beautiful, shy ,but a little spoiled, her mama love her so much. We lost touch , but a few years ago we friend on face book. after many years our family is starting to get to know each other again. Joh, I never met you and the kids, and you don't know me... However, Rosie and I were very close friends in school. We met in the 7th grade when she moved to Mena, and discovered that we had been in the same classroom in the 2nd grade in California... we became instant friends and were inseparable through high school... I can tell you many stories of our HS years, and would love to...but just know this... I loved Rosie like a sister..She was an incredible person and I will miss her so much... I have been looking for her for years with no luck, and it breaks my heart that I am re-connecting with her in this way...My heart felt sympothy goes to you and Rosie's children...
