Betty Louise Gordon Smith VanHorn
Age 92 a resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away August 23, 2024 at home. She was born June 26 1932 in Covington, Kentucky to Ruthford Gordon and Freda Gordon
She is proceeded in death by two husbands: Richard Smith & Eldon Vanhorn. Two brothers: Robert & Raymond Gordon, Two sons: Mike & Mark Smith, One niece: Julie Gordon/Bennett and both parents.
She is survived by her companion Ellie, one son, Richard Smith of Indianapolis, Indiana. A beloved niece Debra Sue Gordon/Osburn and husband Robert of Lincoln Ar. Nephews Stephen(Cari), Robert(Kerin),Donald(Liliana),John, Peter(Nancy)and Greg, five grandchildren,plus numerous great grandkids. Along with all her friends in Florida at the Bonita Beach Trailer Park.
The Gordon & Smith Family would like to thank all the staff of Prairie Grove Nursing Home and Circle of Life for all the care Betty received while in residence. She loved being a part of your community.
Betty truly lived a full and adventurous life, therefore no services are being planned per her wishes.
In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to the Prairie Grove Health and Rehab or to the Circle of Life Hospice in Northwest Arkansas.
