Beverly Jane Kannady Woodward

Beverly Jane Kannady Woodward, age 73, of Fayetteville, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday December 12, 2021 in Fayetteville. She was born December 20, 1947 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Melvin Leroy Kannady and Loyral (Park) Kannady. She attended elementary school in Bartlesville and Tulsa Oklahoma, graduating from Nathan Hale High School in 1966. While in high school she was active in youth for Christ teen activities. She graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1970 with a B.A. degree in business education and from the University of Arkansas in 1992 with a M.A. in business education.
In 1969 she married Larry F. Woodward and spent the next 53 years as a pastor’s wife in the church of the Nazarene. She was an accomplished pianist, interior decorator and floral designer and Sunday School teacher. She taught for three years at American College an adult education college (1984 – 1987) and then at Farmington High School for twenty-two years (1987 – 2009). She was preceded in death by her parents Melvin Leroy and Loyral Kannady of Tulsa.
She is survived by her husband, Larry F. Woodward; two sons, Scott Woodward and his wife Robin of Rogers and Brad Woodward and his wife Lisa of Farmington; three grandchildren, Isaac, Abby and Macy.
Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm Wednesday December 15, 2021 at the First Church of the Nazarene on Old Missouri Road in Fayetteville. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Thursday at the First Church of the Nazarene with burial to follow in Farmington Cemetery under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Fayetteville.
