Billy Wayne Wright (Bill)

Age 76, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, Oct, 19, 2023 at circle of life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. He was born November 22, 1946 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of William Kramer and Carrie Marie (Glidewell) Wright.

Bill grew up in Lincoln and after graduation attended the University of Arkansas for two years, then worked for the Lincoln Post Office for several years.
Then he found his true calling - insurance. He went to work for Mutual of Omaha where he worked for many years. It was at their home office that he met his future wife - Evelyn. He was one of Mutual of Omaha’s top salesman and won many awards. After retiring from M of O he worked independently selling insurance for several years. Then he decided he would have only one client and drive the school bus for Springdale Schools. He loved his client family - Airways Freight - and his school bus family. He finally fully retired last year.

Bill and his wife Evelyn enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling, and especially the Razorbacks.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Evelyn, his daughter Kimberly, his brother Roger, two uncles - Graham and Leland Wright, aunt Bertha Cosby, and Dogg.

Survivors include his granddaughter Ashley Voorhies, great granddaughter Skye Voorhies, sister Jo Ann Wright, sisters-in-law Rebecca Kendrick and Laura Wright, nieces and nephews, friends from high school he still talked with weekly - especially Jerry and his special friend David. And of course Sadee.
