Just want to send my love & warmest thoughts to you all ... I certainly looked forward to seeing Bobby during coffee club time @ One Stop while working on the weekends. We could always stir up something for a laugh or story. I don't have to tell you what you already know, he will be missed dearly. Much Love, Trish

My sympathies to all of our family. I wish I could be there and visit with my family I have not been able to meet. I am so sorry to see that Bobby Rice passed away. I cannot recall having ever met Dallas. Forest Rice married Leales Fidler, and Grandpa and Grandma Rice were the only Grandparents I knew on Dad's side of the family. I remember fondly when they would come and visit me in Lincoln, those were really great times for me. I regret I never got to know more of my Dad's and Grandpa's side of the family. I do remember Uncle Kenneth Rice when Grandma and Grandpa Rice moved to California. I got to see pictures of Kenny, Evelyn and their son.

My heartfelt sympathy to the family of Bob. Bob and I were in the 1954 graduating class of Prairie Grove, and played basketball together. I remember that Bob made the All Tournament team when we won the Springdale Invitational Tournament. I always thought a lot of him, as he was a dear friend. We will all miss him.

We were all so glad that we got to see Uncle Bob at Christmastime. I remember Uncle Bob asking Thomas if he wanted to dig dandelions when Thomas was about two years old - it must have been the first time that we visited after Thomas was born. Thomas didn't even know what a dandelion was!! But he loved digging them up with Uncle Bob! And I can remember Uncle Bob taking me out in the cow pasture and letting me "drive" his red pick up truck. I must have been around 4 or 5, I guess. The best thing about Uncle Bob was that he always doing something for you that you didn't even know that you needed done. He was the only grandpa that I ever had and now I hate that I didn't ever really spend a lot of time with him. I wish that I could be there to just sit with you all and hold your hands. I know how hard it is for you. Know that we are all thinking about you and that we love you so much.

With tears in my eyes, all I can think to say is...Uncle Bobby will always be in my heart. I wish I could be there to give hugs to all.

I don't know if I've ever met a more steadfast, hard working honest man than Bobby Rice. He was dedicated to his family and respected by everyone that knew him. I have known and loved the Rice family for 35 years and still love them and think of them as my family. Bobby and Peggy treated me like their own child when I was growing up with Pam as my best friend. As kids we thought he was tough on us then as we matured we realized he loved us enough to instill great values in us. I am so sad Bobby is gone and that his family will have this void in their lives. I know that Pam will feel this loss tremendously and my heart breaks for her.

Will always remember Bobby & Peggy comming in the Dari-ette on Friday nights. He always thought the world of Peggy.

Dear Peggy and family. We are so very sorry for the loss of Bobby. Bobby was always my friend. I saw the notice in the paper and planned to come to the service, but with mom being sick at the time I let it slip my mind until to late to attend. You are in our prayers. Ron & Sandra Spencer
