Tributes

Papa was a great man that I will always love and miss so very much. God has another precious angel that will watch over all of us. He is now pain free and kicking his heals up I'm sure, I can't wait to see what the clouds look like in the future because my papa will paint them beautifully I just know it. RIP Papa I will see you again someday!!

Joy and family, Gary and I send our deepest sympathies and pray that time will heal the loss of a great man. Carson was as close to me as my own dad and I thought so much of him. He was so talented and it will be hard to find a guitar player as good as he was. We are just honored to have known him while he was here. God Bless all of you love you guys like family
Sharon And Gary Rakes - Very Close Friend

Joy, I wanted you to know how sorry my family is about Carson. He was a good friend to my daddy and a life long friend to our family. We had a lot of good music over the years. No one could play like Carson, Frankie and daddy. So sorry for you and your kids loss. The Duncan Family

I had not seen Carson for some time, but I have many fond memories of the times I used to play my fiddle with him and Frankie. Carson was a very fine guitar player and he was always gracious to allow this novice fiddler to play along with the group. He will be missed, but I bet he's already joined a great swing band and one with the best fiddler we both knew.
Terry Box - Music Friend

I can remember Carson for as long as I've been alive. He played music with my papa Frankie Kelly for many years. He was a comedian for sure and a great guitar player. I remember many music parties at papas house over the years with lots of food and great friends with Carson and Joy always being there. He lived next door to papa for many years and was definitely a one of a kind. I know he is in heaven playing music with papa and all that have gone before him smiling down on all of us. You will be missed but never forgotten. Love you Carson.

Mr. Bailey and his son painted our house inside and outside in 1999. They also did work for our daughter. We pray that our Lord will comfort you during this time of loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. Though my sister and I did not know Carson other than his playing with Frankie and Leonard, he was a good friend of my father, Kenneth McKee. Our family is very sorry.
Diana McKee Strange - Acquaintance

I am sorry to hear of your family's loss. My acquaintance with Carson goes a long way back. My husband, James, played music with him early on. I always thought he was a good guitar player and got better as the years went on. His brother, "Junior" was my boss at Campbell Soup for seven years. He was very good to me and my family. And, Ricky, is my nephew. too. All the Bailey family are in my prayers. Just reach for God's unfailing hand find comfort. God Bless
