What a wonderful example of a true man of God!!! All the years and countless hours I have spent with this man of God I realized that God truly blessed me to have the privilege to have been a part of his life, this man never turned his back on me an always showed what real love is!!! I think back of sermons, songs, and many talks We had and tears fall from my eyes I can still hear the piano and his voice sing the songs that he wrote an shared with his congregation!! I know one thing Cecil Sugg loved God very much and he is dancing on streets of gold rejoicing bc now he is home with his heavenly father!!! I love you Cecil Sugg!

I met Cecil when he was abt 12 yrs old. Cecil's dad pastored the church my family attended at Cave Creek. We spent most of our spare time together. Later we both lived at Ft. Smith, AR and attended church together there. I consider Cecil one of the best friends I've ever had. Our prayers are with the family!

When word came to us about Cecil's death, we were saddened but knowing also in our hearts that God had welcomed him into heaven with open arms. For many years we have seen Cecil and you Marti raise your family with love and open hearts. They in return gave that love back to you. Cecil always had a witty saying or a good word but more than that he had a smile on his face and God's love showing in his actions. We will continue to pray for your peace and comfort as only God can bring.

My heart felt prayers go out to all of The Sugg family during this time! Mr. Cecil Sugg was such a kind, caring, great hearted man of the community. I cant thank him enough for the time he took during my mother Carol Bauer's time of need with lung cancer. He was kind enough to allow my family to have her services at the church and also speak during. He is truly a very respectable man,and will be missed by my family dearly! May You rest in heaven now Mr.Sugg. Michaeline,Greg,Patrick,& Quinton Carter
Michaeline Bauer Carter - Friend Of Family

Lana and I extend heart-felt condolences to the Sugg family. Cecil was a treasure and will be missed. We ask God to bless you with his grace and divine love as you work through this season of loss. Personal notes: Some of my fondest childhood memories are those growing up with the Sugg family only 3 houses away in Velvet Ridge. My first Sugg contact was the early sixties around 50 years ago. I had passed out with a seizure following a neck accident. My daddy had given me up for dead and was ready to throw the sheet over me. But...I did wake up. There at the foot of my bed, Bible tucked under his left arm was Brother T.C. Sugg (Cecil's dad), fervently beseeching God on my behalf, praying me back from death's door...God loves you all. Our prayers are with you.
Donnie Cox - Friend

Our Dear Marty, I pray that the comforter will comfort you and your family as only he can do.
I remember when I first met you and Cecil, you were a young married couple at church, later we got to attend church with the two of you in Fort Smith, we did not get to visit as much as we would like these past 20 years or so , But was blessed every time we met by chance. The two of you have always been like family to me. I do not know of another human who will be missed more than Cecil. He was a friend to all, did not know how to say no. He and you have touched so many lives, where ever you went. I know he is not suffering any more but with Father God.So many good memories in such a short time to cherish until we meet again. loving you always,

We only met Cecil a few times. I could tell he was a great man with a great spirit. We had dinner with some of his family this summer and he was there. He was so funny he made my husband laugh so hard. When we left that night my husband said he hadn't laughed that hard in a long time. I know he will be missed. Prayers for the entire Sugg family.

I remember all the sermons I sat through in my teens that he preached. He made church fun. I have missed hearing him preach for a very long time. No matter how long it had been since he had seen me, he never forgot me. His easy smile and sense of humor always filled a room. He had such a love for people, it was amazing. He was truly a man of God. He will be missed all over the state. My heart goes out to all of the family. May God bring all of you peace and comfort. <3

My... how I love Bro. Cecil. He was easy to love, because he loved people. No matter what their status in life, Bro. Cecil showed them love. (John 13:35 - By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.) What a great singer, great musician, great preacher... but my how he loved!!! He still loves!!!

Our deepest condolences to the family. Having known Bro. Cecil all my life I have tons of great memories of him but one of my favorites was when we lived in Prairie Grove, Cecil would sometimes come by and visit after lunch on Sundays(by visit I mean take a nap in my recliner) Soon after my daughter Haley was born he came by to see us/her and she was a bit fussy but as soon as he took her she settled right down. after abit I looked over and the two of them were fast asleep. So we went on with whatever we were doing and pretty soon it had been a couple of hours and he woke up and said he had better get going. Come to find out later Marty had been looking for him all afternoon. He will be terribly missed by all of us. with love John Jr. and family
