Cecile Chouinard

74, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away March 16, 2011 at her home in Lincoln, Arkansas. She was born August 14, 1936 in Haverhill, Massachusetts, the daughter of William and Blanche Fournier Dodier.

She was number eleven of twelve children. She was a loving mother, wife and neighbor.

Survivors include her husand, Albert Ron Chouinard; her children, Joy Kapity and her husband, Derek, of Lincoln, Arkansas, Rocky Chouinard and his wife, Alisha, of Cushing, Oklahoma, Mark Chouinard and his wife, Chrissy, of Jacksonville, Florida, Debbie Chang and her husband, Jeff, and Ron Chouinard and his wife, Donna, all of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; one brother, Richard Dodier of Lincoln, Arkansas; four sisters, Lillian Reynolds of Plaistow, New Hampshire, Marie Dionne of Nashua, New Hampsire, Evie Desroche of Maine and Claire Henderson of Haverhill, Massachusetts.

She had an open door policy and everyone who walked through it was family. Her home was always filled with family, food, fun and love! She loved spending time with her family laughing and playing games. She is loved greatly and we will miss her so very much.

Memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2011- 12:00 P.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. There will be a reception following the memorial service at the Parish Hall.

Ron, Joy, Rocky and family, Tom and I are so sorry to hear of Cecile's death. It was wonderful to see her last fall, full of fun and so happy to be with her brother and sisters. I'll always remember her laugh.

Cecile showed how much she loved her husband and family with everything she did. I remember shopping with her in California in the thrift shops. She bought a small heart that I later saw her put in her husbands lunch box. She is very special and dearly missed.
