Charlene "Charlie" Dick
Obituary
Charlene “Charlie” Dick, 76, a longtime resident of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born March 19, 1949, in Sterling, Kansas, the daughter of Carl and Violet (Miller) Lohmann.
Charlie was well-known in the community for her talent, work ethic, and welcoming spirit. For many years she owned and operated Charlie’s Family Salon in Prairie Grove, where she built lasting friendships and touched countless lives. In 1989, she and her husband Fred embarked on a new adventure when they moved to Grand Lake, Colorado, where together they opened Grumpy’s Grill. A decade later, in 1999, they returned home to Prairie Grove and once again poured their hearts into a new venture—Charlie’s Old Locker Grill, creating another place where friends and families gathered.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Dick, and her parents, Carl and Violet Lohmann.
Charlie is survived by her two sons, William Dick and his wife Rita, and Gary Dick and his wife Tracy, all of Prairie Grove; her three grandchildren, Chandler Dick, Braxton Dick, and Finley Dick; and one great-grandson on the way, Hudson Dick. She is also survived by her brother Dennis Lohmann and his wife Vicki of Valley Center, Kansas, her sister-in-law Ruth Lange of Rotonda, Florida, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
