Tributes

I will never forget Chuck. He hired me at Campbell Soup and was the best boss I ever had. Chuck was a great mentor. I appreciated his calm demeanor, his quite sense of humor and above all his advice and guidance both professionally and as a friend. He will be sorely missed.
J. Patrick McCloud - Colleague From Campbell's

I was privileged to have known the Reis family, especially Charla and Teresa, through Elmer Hunt. Since Elmer's passing, I have missed the family gatherings but will hold many wonderful and fond memories forever. My heartfelt condolences, prayers and love go to all who loved Mr. Reis.

I met Chuck back in the early 80's when I was calling upon Campbell Soup Co. in NW Arkansas.I always made sure Chuck was going to be around to see me before finalizing the trip from Georgia to Arkansas. He was such a pleasure to call on and always had nothing but good things to say about life and people. He will be missed by our industry.
Stan Appleton - Business

I'm not acquainted with all of you, but, I do know Don from the donut shop I used to own on Garland in Fayetteville and I did know Johannah from St Joseph's school back in the day. I was a grade ahead of you, Johannah. Chuck used to come into the donut shop and we'd visit. He was always such a gentleman and a gentle man. He's much like Don, whom I still see on occasion from time to time. I know you'll miss Chuck, but, he had a pretty good life from all I could tell and I know he has a very loving family. Hope all goes well for each of you in the future.
