Charles Lee Radford
77 a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away November 25, 2011 at his home in Lincoln, Arkansas. He was born January 27, 1934 in Willow Springs, Missouri, the son of Stanley C. and Nema Faye McCormick Radford.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lincoln, Arkansas. Charley served in the Korean War during the Korean Conflict in 1953 and 1954. He was in a special AT&M team, mines-bombs & boobytraps. He was a member of the American Legion in Lincoln. He loved RVing and was a member of the Good Sam RV Club, loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the North American Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia Harrington and one brother, Kenneth D. Radford.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Gayle Radford; one son, Larry Collins of Coleman, Texas; two daughters, Karen Patterson of Topeka, Kansas and Rebecca Pike of Tulsa, Oklahoma; three brothers, Billy C. Radford of Angleton, Texas, Stanley C. Radford Jr. and Ronnie G. Radford both of Markham, Texas; ten grandchildren, Charles F. Roach, Rebecca L. Snaith, Mandi G. Harrison, Richard B. Roach, Jesicha Fontana, Nicole Holley, David M. Pike, Matthew D. Pike, Rita Lieb and Andrew Collins and ten great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, November 28, 2011 - 10:00 at the First Baptist Church in Lincoln, Arkansas, with Randy Magar officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
