Lelia, Watching the video brings back such sweet memories of the days and nights spent at your house. It's no wonder I became an elementary school counselor with a model like your mom during those impressionable years. I will always remember her smile and how she could make anyone feel good. My prayers are with you and your family during this time. Your friend always, Karla

How do you pay tribute to such a wonderful woman????? If we put all the kids that she has ever influenced or help along life's rocky paths, you would have more adults and children than any of us even start to think. tonight as I drove to the visitation I heard a song that fit perfectly. I will rise when he calls my name, no more sorrow no more pain, I will rise on eagles wing, before my God fall on my knees and rise. I will rise..... she is indeed rising to a world of no pain or sorrow... no more tears.... happy, joyous and overseeing the children in heaven I am 100% sure... to her children I say THANK YOU!!!! for sharing this most precious gift with all of us... she was truly one of a kind and while you will miss her without a doubt, there will come a day when we will see her again.... so for now celebrate her life.. celebrate the years.... celebrate her family and wipe each others tears... know that you will see her again... God bless you all and know our thoughts and prayers are with you all...

I am so sad for Lena's family, but rejoice in knowing that she has gone to her heavenly home where there will be no more pain and suffering. Lena was one of the sweetest persons I have been blessed to know. She was so good as a Sunday school teacher and my daughter Lyndsey, loved her. She always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say to you. I know you will all miss her terribly and so will the people whose lives she touched. Praying for strength and comfort in the days ahead. With deepest sympathy. Tony,Toni and Lyndsey
