Debra Lynn Kuykendall
Obituary
Debra Lynn Kuykendall was born on September 24, 1958, in Santa Ana, California. In 1972, she moved to Stilwell, Oklahoma, where she built her life and raised her family. In 1976, she married the love of her life, Carroll Dwayne Kuykendall. Together they shared many years of love, commitment, and devotion to their family.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents, Glen Larry Casteel Sr. and Lena Brown Casteel; her siblings Glen Larry Casteel Jr and Paulette Ann Kuykendall; her daughter, Stephanie Kuykendall; and her son, Joshua Kuykendall.
She is survived by her loving husband, Carroll Dwayne Kuykendall; her children, Megan and Jimmy Lawrence, Zachery and Alex Kuykendall, and Amy Kuykendall. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Ruby and William Kuykendall, and Alexander Lawrence. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.
Debra also had a special bond with her beloved dog, Sammy, who was her faithful companion and brought her great comfort and joy throughout the years.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 16th, at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers her family has asked that you continue their efforts to support St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Debra will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
Isaiah 66:13 “As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you; and you will be comforted over Jerusalem.”
