Delton Hoyt Norton

Delton Hoyt Norton, age 88, a resident of Morrow, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord on April 6, 2013 at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was born September 6, 1924 in Walnut, Arkansas, the son of Lee Roy and Stella Grace Page Norton.

Delton was a member of the Centerpoint Church of God and has been a Church Deacon for 44 years. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Wallace Norton; one grandson, Wallace Shane Norton;

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruth Holland Norton; one son, Lynn Norton and friend Karen Barnes of Morrow, Arkansas; one daughter, Jane Hazlewood and husband Tim of Van Buren, Arkansas; one brother, Jack Norton of Morrow, Arkansas; eight grandchildren, Carry Glenn Norton, Tammy Farkas, Shawn Villines, Tim Hazlewood Jr., Larry Galloway, Roy Norton, Dustin Norton and Amanda Cheatham; twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00-7:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 9, 2013 - 2:00 P.M. at Centerpoint Church of God in Prairie Grove, with burial in Bethesda Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Dustin Norton, Shawn Villines, Amanda Cheatham, Tammy Farkas, Roy Norton, and Larry Galloway.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Billy John Page, Willis Winkler and his great grandchildren.
