Donald "Don" Christian
Age 81, a resident of Westville, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He was born March 19, 1940 in Auburn, California, the son of Hubert Elmore and Martha Ellen (Kidd) Christian.
Don was a barber for 53 years in Tulsa and Westville. He was a 32 degree Mason and had served as Worshipful Master twice in the Lincoln Masonic Lodge #615. Don was a member of Summers Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Omar and Bert Kidd, and Elmore and Stella (Suttle) Christian, his parents, and one brother J.R. Walton.
Survivors include his wife Myrle Christian; seven children Pam Christian, Terry Bracken and her husband John, Jimmy Christian and his companion Trina, Brandon Christian and his wife Chrissie, Nick Phillips and his wife Oaklea, Candy Harwood and her husband Brian, and Jon Phillips and his wife Janece; sixteen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and one niece Joan Allen.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 2, 2021, 6:00-8:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 3rd, 2021, at Summers Missionary Baptist Church in Summers, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow, Arkansas. Memorials may be made to Gideons International P.O. Box 641 Prairie Grove, Arkansas 72753.
