Obituary
Donald Oren Anderson, 79, a resident of Dutch Mills, Arkansas, passed away Saturday,
December 6, 2025 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. He was born January 11, 1946, the son of William Oren and Amy Elzada (Edmoundson) Anderson.
Don was Born in Oxnard California. He was a certified welder his entire life, and then moved to Arkansas in October 1966. He was saved in 1967, led by Eddie James. He started raising chickens and beef cows for many years, then transitioned into dairy farming for 15 years. After retiring from the dairy business he built custom cabinets and furniture along with custom bowls and platters. Many of the farmers in the community also brought their farm equipment to Don to weld and repair. He loved his family and life. Gardening was his special hobby and playing with his dog Oreo.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Amy Anderson.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, JoAnn Anderson; daughter, Tammie Lane and husband Jim of Prairie Grove; son, Mike Anderson and wife Kim of Springdale; Grandchildren Taylor Lane, Seth Lane and fiancee Brooke, Abigail ''Abby" Anderson and one brother, William Ray Anderson of Deming, NM.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 10, 2025, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Luginbuel Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, December 11th, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church in Dutch Mills, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Dutch Mills Cemetery in Dutch Mills, Arkansas.
