Doris was dedicated to serving her family, her church, and, most of all, the Farmington community, where she graduated high school and has lived proudly for the past 48 years. She never met a stranger, generously loved her friends and relatives and had a kind smile and word for everyone.

A licensed hairdresser and cosmetologist, Doris worked at the Paragon on the Fayetteville square and later cut hair from her home. She worked for many years alongside several family members at Baldwin Piano. She was a receptionist for the Arkansas Area Health Education Centers (AHEC) (Now UAMS) and later worked at the Ozark Mountain Smokehouse.
Wayne and Doris were longtime members of the Farmington United Methodist Church. Doris proudly served on the planning committee for the current church. She was a passionate volunteer at Fayetteville City Hospital, The Attic and the Fayetteville chapter of the Disabled American Veterans. She was a taste tester for the University of Arkansas Science Center.

I will miss you so much. Thank you for comporting me with my difficult situation and thank you for being there for me. You are like my second mom. I will always cherish our time togetherness and going to places with you. May you rest in peace.
Angeluz - Friend forever

I had the pleasure of getting to know Doris while taking care of her mother at Fayetteville City Hospital. She recently came to me as a resident herself where I work now. There will never be anyone sweeter than this lady. I loved her dearly. Prayers for her family and friends.

We hadn't seen Doris in years and sadden by her passing.
We always remember her beautiful warm smile and laughter.
Her mother was also a sweetheart.
Pretty sure she entered heaven with the biggest smile ever.
