Dorothy Leona Childres
89 a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away January 27, 2011 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born January 26, 1922 in Wauseon, Ohio, the daughter of William Richard and Gemella Pride Kerr.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenland, Arkansas.
Survivors include two sons, Pat Moore and wife Bonnie of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Mark Childress and wife Jewell of Elkins, Arkansas; one daughter, Mary Jo Elliott of Farmington, Arkansas; one daughter-in-law, Mimi Thomas of Farmington, Arkansas; one sister, Audrey Robinson of Beaumont, California; 11 grandchildren, Gwen Bryant, Gena McDonald, Glen Russum, Susan Elliott, Shauna Elliott, Toni Terrell, Dorothy Judd, Patti Baker, Elizabeth Brick, Shasta Moore, and Joanna Moore; nineteen great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday January 29, 2011 at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas with Eric Howerton officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery in Farmington, Arkansas, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
