Doyle "Junior" Derr Prince JR
74 years young, passed away on Sunday, August 31, 2025 at his home.
Doyle was born August 7, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas to Doyle Derr Prince Senior and Viola "Raby" Prince.
Prairie Grove, Arkansas was where Doyle was raised. Growing up he would spend his time doing activities like working with his uncle S.E., water skiing, boating, any hobby that included spending time with friends and family. Doyle was a very athletic man who excelled in all sports until he graduated Prairie Grove High School in 1971. He spent a year at Oklahoma military's academy in Clairemore, Oklahoma as well.
After he graduated he attended Tulsa welding school where he began his successful lifelong welding career. His job consisted of working on big oil rigs at times, nuclear plants, and lots of traveling. He used his free time to raise rabbits, deer hunt, fish and do things with his family.
He retired in 2016 from Johnson Mechanical, Fayetteville, Arkansas where he was employed for over 30 years.
Doyle is proceeded in death by his father Doyle Prince SR, sister Wanda Jean Robinson, sister Beverly Ann Phipps, uncle S.E. Prince, daughter Stephanie Stacks, and nephew Vance Reed.
Doyle is survived by wife Hazel Prince of the home, daughter Michelle Cuevas and husband John of Oklahoma, son Jeremy Houston of Summers, daughter Amanda Prince of Fayetteville, grandson Kyle Houston of Fayetteville, grandson Logan Johnson of Fayetteville, granddaughter Madison Prince of Fayetteville, grandson Braden Cuevas of Oklahoma, and grandson Dalton Cuevas of Oklahoma, granddaughter Chanae Garman of Oklahoma, grandson Larrit Stacks of Oklahoma, and many nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held at Luginbuels funeral home in Prairie Grove, Arkansas on Thursday, September 11th between 5pm-6pm. We will gather to celebrate and share memories remembering the life of a hardworking, charismatic, and loving man.
