Elizabeth Jones Lockhart

Age 80, a resident of Lincoln, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born January 31, 1945 at the Elizbeth Hospital in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the daughter of John Paul and Violet Ann (Copeland) Jones.

Elizabeth was always taking care of everyone. She loved to cook for her family and friends. She was always smiling, giggling and laughing. She loved going to the Senior Center to play Bingo and playing bean bag ball.

She was preceded in death by her mother Violet, her father John Paul, her daughter Sally Metcalf and one great grandson Jacob Mays.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years Thomas Lockhart of Lincoln, Arkansas; one granddaughter Kelly and her boyfriend Clayton Haile of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two great grandsons Nathanail Mays and Wyatt Mays of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one sister Mary Ann Lockhart of Lincoln, Arkansas; one brother Tom Jones and his wife Edna of Summers, Arkansas; four nieces, two nephews and numerous cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 25, 2025, 6:00-7:00 PM at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, June 26th, 2025, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Ganderville Cemetery in Summers, Arkansas, there will be no graveside service held.
