Erma Lee Reed Myatt
Obituary
Erma Lee Reed Myatt, 85, a resident of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 3, 2026. She was born January 24, 1941, in Rhea, Arkansas, the daughter of Frank Raymond Reed and Sylvada Mae Linn Reed.
She was the next-to-oldest of ten children and grew up on a farm near Lincoln, Arkansas. Erma worked as an accounting clerk in the tobacco and candy wholesale business for more than 34 years. She also served alongside her husband through involvement with the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary and Power Squadrons for a number of years. She was a longtime member of Lady of India Shriners A.A.D.N.M.S. of Oklahoma City and a member of Bethany Lodge #529. Erma enjoyed bowling and participated in several leagues, but most of all she loved traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Myatt; her parents, Frank Raymond Reed and Sylvada Mae Linn Reed; brothers Donnie Wayne Reed and Albert Raymond Reed; sister Mary Jane Reed Mitchell; and sister Wanda Louise Reed Torres.
Erma is survived by her two children: Brenda Louise Myatt Killman of Lake Tenkiller, Oklahoma, and David Linn Myatt of Mesa, Arizona. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Takanisha Niccole Williams, Takota Wayne Williams, Tasha Deanea (Blankenship) Clutter, Camerareon Linn Myatt, and Johnny Austin Lewis Myatt; and three great-grandchildren: Aneeca T’May Williams, Makeah Mae Clutter, and Kyson Wayne Clutter.
Erma will be remembered for her dedication to family, her steady work ethic, and her love of fellowship, travel, and community. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
The family will receive friends Friday, February 6, 2026, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM prior to the service.
Funeral Service will be held 3:00 PM Friday, February 6th, 2026, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Beaty Cemetery in Lincoln, Arkansas.
