Gayle R Allen

76, a resident of Fayetteville, passed away November 28, 2015 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville. She was born May 3, 1939 at Prairie Grove, the daughter of Forrest Ausborn and Jonnie Belle Glidewell Rodgers.

Gayle was the owner of Appletown Restaurant in Lincoln for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lincoln, and enjoyed traveling, especially with her husband, Ronnie and the board members of Ozarks Electric Cooperative.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Ronnie” Allen in 2006.

Survivors include one son, Jonathan Allen and wife Christal of Garfield one daughter, Rhonda Prenger and husband Mark of Fayetteville, Arkansas; four grandchildren Caroline Leemis and husband Eric, Lauren Tyree and husband Aaron, Kimberly Goll and husband Ted, and Payton Allen; one great grandson, Beckett Tyree; one sister, Pam Watson and husband Richard of Lincoln; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 - 2:00 P.M. at the Luginbuel Chapel with Paul Young officiating. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. No graveside service will be held at the cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Willard Walker Hospice Home, 325 E Longview St. Fayetteville, AR 72703.
