HAWS
Funeral service was held at Cincinnati, conducted by Rev. Jess HOPKINS, assisted by the Westville Masonic Lodge, for George T. HAWS who died at his home in Westwood, California, Sunday, June 18.
Mr. HAWS was born near Summers, Arkansas, October 2, 1876. In 1898 he was married to Bessie Dean SMITH, who departed this life in 1926, to the union was born seven children, five of whom survive, who are: Ray HAWS, Pacific Grove, Calif., Dean HAWS, Mrs. Lucille ROWLAND, and Mrs. Mabel BOWMAN all of Westwood, California, and Edsel HAWS, who is in the service, stationed at Oklahoma City. In 1928 he was married to Mrs. Mary Jane JANUARY who also survives.
Burial was made in the Union cemetery at Cincinnati.
