Tributes

I worked under Georgia at Medi Homes In Prairie Grove When She was Director Of Nursing, Then again when she was a Nurse at City Hospital and my Husband and Son and Daughter in Law worked in Dietary at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville When she was a Nurse There. She was a Great Nurse and will be Greatly missed. So Sorry to hear about your loss.

I only knew Georgia through the stories and tales Lisa told me about her. I never had the pleasure of meeting her in person yet I feel a great loss at what Lisa always described as a down to earth spunky little woman who always told it like it is. I know she had a great sense of humor and I know from personal experience she would share her vast medical knowledge with any one who said"It hurts when I do this, what does it mean?" I am sure she will be missed terribly and remembered fondly. All my prayers and sympathies are with you all even though I only know Lisa I feel as if I know you all and I am sorry for your loss. I am so sorry to hear the news of your Mother. The last time she came in to see us she was so excited about going up in a hot air baloon. I have waited on your Mother for a long time. I know she will be deeply missed. What a sweet lady.

My mother, my sons, and myself knew Georgia from The City Hospital, Fayetteville, AR, where my mother has been a resident for five or six years. My mother is on Hoover Wing where Georgia worked. She treated my mother with respect and kindness, and I think she went out of her way to be helpful, plus she was fun to be around. She always had a story about where her jewelry she had on had come from, and always had the most colorful and happy hospital uniform shirts. She always made it a point to come in and visit if she could when we were there. She was very entertaining and we enjoyed getting to know her. We will miss her. Louise Powers
