G. W. "Geeb" Hodges
82 a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away October 4, 2013 at Willard Walker Hospice Home. He was born April 16, 1931 in Cove Creek, Arkansas, the son of Lewis Napoleon and Minnie Lee Quinton Hodges.
He enjoyed listening to and playing bluegrass music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Peggy Mourning Hodges; two daughters, Kathy Salsbury and husband, Gerald of Alma, and Connie Behl and husband, David of Prairie Grove; four grandchildren, Whitney Salsbury and Jennifer of Van Buren, Suzzanne Salsbury also of Van Buren, Amber Barton and husband Wade of Rogers and Morgan Behl and wife Kristin of Centerton; two great grandchildren, Avan Barton and Karis Behl; four step grandchildren; one brother, Conard Hodges of Ukiah, California; one sister, Olivie Cole of Perkins, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held Monday, October 7, 2013 - 2:00 P.M. at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Cemetery, there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.
