Harold Lloyd Pike
Obituary
Harold Lloyd Pike, a true cowboy at heart and beloved father, passed away on October 30, 2025 at the age of 72 in Farmington, Arkansas. Harold was born April 30, 1953 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Marguerite Cleone Pike and Harold Dewey Pike.
It is likely he saw every Western movie ever made, and he spent his life doing everything he could to live out his dream of being a real-life cowboy.
With his trusted horses, Omar and then Lobo, and mule Quigley by his side, Harold found joy and freedom in the saddle under wide open skies.
An avid reader and arrowhead collector, Harold was always curious and connected to the world's history and stories. He could often be seen at the Redfeather Trading Co. in Prairie Grove, AR, spending time among those who shared similar interests.
Harold was proud member of Teamsters Local 710 (Chicago, IL).
Above all, he was the world's best dad to his daughter and son, who will forever cherish his strength and unwavering love.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marguerite Cleone Pike Berntsen, father Harold Dewey Pike, and sister Shirley Jean Pike Hemmingson.
Harold shared two children with Kay Keyes Pike. He is survived by daughter, Rachel Pike McAnally (husband Corey McAnally), and son, Brian Pike. Also brother, Thomas Pike, Aunt, Patricia Berntsen (Richard Berntsen), his brother-in-law, Michael Hemmingson and nieces Marguerite Jayasimha (Shefali and Shreya) and Sara Hemmingson.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will ride on in every sunset, every treasure found, and every trail yet to be ridden.
