Obituary
Henry “Hank” Arthur McCleland
age 66, died October 16th, 2010, in Fayetteville. He was born November 15th, 1943, in Clovis, California, the eldest son of Oscar and Winnie McCleland. Early in life, Hank found his niche in the construction industry. He was a drywall contractor by trade and homebuilder in his spare time. He refurbished, designed and built many custom homes throughout his lifetime for his family to live in. Deer hunting was a favorite pastime and Hank preferred the serenity his Horton Crossbow allowed him, versus rifle hunting. Gardening was also a passion. He was a master gardener, producing a surplus of vegetables he shared with family and friends. Recently, he acquired the knowledge of home canning and had just finished a batch of apple butter. Hank was a loving husband for forty-eight years. He loved his children and grandchildren and took pride in their accomplishments.
He is survived by his wife, Linda McCleland, of Prairie Grove, three daughters, Bobbi Boller and Jamie Porter of Farmington, Sandy Silva of Elkins, and four grandchildren, He is also survived by his father, Oscar Dale McCleland, 3 brothers and 6 sisters.
Memorial services will be held at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove at 6:00 pm, Thursday, October 21st.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Arkansas. The complete obituary may be viewed on the Luginbuel Web Page. To sign the online guest book, visit www.luginbuel.com

We are so sorry for your loss, my heart goes out to each of you. I pray that God gives you peace and understanding during this very difficult time. We loved Hank, I've never met anyone more giving then him. He was a blessing to everyone he came in contact with, whether he was planting a garden big enough to feed the entire community or having several beefs butchered just so he'd have enough to share, everything he did involved helping others. He will be missed so much!

Although I did not know Hank well, I knew him through his daughter, Bobbi Boller. He raised a beautiful daughter and this beautiful person could have only come from a very good man. I am so glad to have had the pleasure of meeting Hank. And I smile knowing that he lived life to the fullest and on his terms right up to the last moment.
Lucy M. Bugea - Friend Of Bobbi Boller

I met Hank on several occasions and every time I saw him he was smiling of joking. You could tell when he spoke how much he loved his family and how much they loved him. I would like to wish you all my sincere condolences, I am sure you each have special memories of him that are part of you and can never be taken away.

Hank was a very kind and generous man. Any time he would come into the doctors office, he would always share some of his vegatable with us. He had been know to throw one or two at us from time to time....mainly because I would pick on him and he would love to fight right back with me. I always enjoyed talking to him when he would come in and listen to his wild and cray stories. He will truely be missed. He may be gone from our eyesight but never far from our hearts. May God be with you all during this time.
Jennifer Teague - Friend
